ok 2 things i need

1.) new clutch
2.) new brakes

what are good companys to use for cheap (i have heard ebc clutches are good)

and do i need to replace the basket when i replace the plates?

I use Barnett clutch plates and springs, seem to work very well, hook up is awesome. If you clutch basket is grooved you may want to file down the edges or your clutch may feel notched or grabby and not work well, if its grooved really bad then replace it.

As for brake pads, I've had excellent luck with the EBC pads, they dont last long (about a year, give or take depending on the ammount of riding and the trail conditions)but the stopping power is great.

Stock(nissin) brake pads and ebc clutches.... order the stiffer springs too they are only 7 bucks. should do the job well.

thanks for the info, i asked doug but you know him, he gets the best and wont tell you to get anything else, its like asking a wall of money

allright, wheelies, what gear can you guys pull wheelies, mine i can only do 1st gear i try second and it just slips, i have heard the ebc W/ springs can pull third

I can do 2nd gear no prob, 3rd if i rev the **** outa it

Same here. But I figured out my problem tonight. My stock bars were adjusted towards me and I moved them out some. Not only is posture better but I feel I can wheelie easier in 2nd now. Good thing I'll be ditching the stock bars next month.

Anyway. Yeah warriorS3249783904857D I can wheelie in 2nd 3rd no problem.

The clutches themselves wont help you wheelie better, but having plates that work right will, just buy something decent and stay away from tusk.

will do capn, its just the clutch is ****, i have like no 6th gear cause the clutch slips and it seems shorter than 1st, and if i dump the clutch in 2nd it just winds down and doesnt speed up very much so, ill have to get some cash soon...i have a plan to get the brakes and clutch so i can ride without worrying if i can slow down enugh in a turn

i would ask the seller about it first though. first he says it is new and then he says he didnt buy it new. wtf?
