Ok I have issues with getting the toe correct. Stock arms.
Does someone have the exact measurements of the tie rods pin to pin?
I would like the bars to be straight and it track properly.
I looked in the clymer manual and tried to set it to that and it was way off.
Any ideas?

What I do is take 2 tie down straps and hook the one end to one side of the bars, adn the other strap to the other side of the bars. Then put their other hook to the grab bar and tighten down, to hold the bars perfectly straight. After that I start adjusting away.

Sounds like a good technique.
Do you adjust it to have some toe in like on a Auto?
I figured Yamaha gave a specific tie rod center end to center end measurement. If they would give this you could be dead nuts on minus the play in the rod ends.
Wouldn't that make sense or too much sense.
Then you could bench set your tie rods then install them. Then all would be square with the world????

you cant do it that way because none of these bikes are the exact same, your frame may be tweeked 1/8 and someone elses 1/8 the other way, so you need to put the bars strait, strap em, then use a tape measure and set then at about 1/16-1/8" toe in no quick tricks, just a tape and a couple wrenches

I'll give that a shot when I get home.
Thanks for all the help.
Another question;
Is the Banshee rear dog leg worth it? Direct bolt on?
YFZ450R front brake calipers worth it?

If only I could put mine on my alignment rack... I'd have THE best handiling warrior ever!
