2000 warrior runing bad

my 2000 warrior has been acting funny. it started acople weeks ago when i gave it all most full throttel it like putterd and backfired..
then i noticed that the boot between the carb. and eng. had two holes so i replaced it and seemed to help then i broke my clutch lever and now has been parked for about a week and i went out to run it a littel and it wouldent take any throttel it will just like backfire...was wondering what you guys think it is...carb maybe? not sure..havent opend the carb yet only had it for about a month and havent had a chance please help!

Well the carb sounds like a good place to start.............
If its never been torn aprat before. it could probably use a good cleaning
Even if it isnt the problem.

Try a spark plug. They're cheap and it'll never hurt to get a new one
