Im wondering if the front and rear brakes are interchangeable, cause i was at the yamaha dealership in town who are idiots and they couldn't tell me so i ordered up some genuine yamaha's

and a random rant ebc brakes suck, i had mine for maybe a month now and i used the machine maybe 3-4 good rides and i already have to change the pads :-/

They're different

But ebc brakes don't suck, if your pads wore out that fast you have a problem with your pads dragging. Either you have a bent rotor, or your caliper isn't sliding like it's supposed to.

having scratches in your rotor rips the pad apart

run your finger from the center of the rotor to the outside and see if there are ridges and inspect for scratches/nicks and that will tell you your problem

check ur parkin brake... on the raptor its all ****** up thats what keeps running my brake pads down... i dont even use my rear brakes so i no its that... im about to rip the parkin brake off cause i never use it cause it blows... i just put it in gear when its shut off...

yeah i went riding yesterday and i hardly used them at all and i checked them after when i came home and they were worn enough to notice, it must be the parking brake dragging or something i think i might just slack it out of adjustment

be careful with that tho cause if its in gear in the back of a truck or somethin it has some play and can **** your quad up. Just tie the front brake wiht like a bungee

ive heard if your in gear in the back of a truck with it not strapped down well it can spin the motor enough to stretch the one way and cause some damage, dunno if its ******** or what but yeah

I have a feeling that's what screwed up my one way, at the time I didn't know that transporting them in gear could cause damage.

ya lol i no but usually when im travlin wit it i put it in gear and strap the **** out of it... but puttin it in gear is my only parkin brake... lol im thinkin of rippin the p. brake off... i dunno
