I was thinking of getting 23" front and 22" rear tires with the hope of making my Rappy more stable and easier to ride in the ruff , rocky stuff and to add a little ground clearance. I realize there will be a weight, gearing, and
cornering compromise but I dont race and dont do big jumps. I was gonna get a Wolverine but it was way to heavy and ugly for my tastes so I was hoping this tire combo would make my Rap350 a little easier to ride and a little more rough trail friendly. What do you guys think?

only problem is.. is that you'll lose your bottom end with bigger tires, but other than that, get a smaller sprocket and itll even out. go for it.

The difference between 20" and 22" tires is the same as two teeth on the rear sprocket, you'll gain a little low end by the front sprocket change.

Thanks for all the replies, this site rocks. Do you think I can slip on the 12 tooth and use my original chain and take up the slack with the adjusters?

yeah that will work, but if your original sprocket and chain is starting to get worn it would be a good idea to get new front and rear sprockets and a new chain. New sprockets and old chains don't always mix together very well, sometimes you have problems with the sprocket wearing out quickly or the chain jumping off the sprockets.
