2nd fuse

Hi all. I just picked up a Warrior for cheap and am just cleaning it up and giving it a tune up.

If you take a look at the pic I attached you can see a fuse that is spliced in to the Brown wire running off of the key switch. I don't think this is oem as I can't find it in my manual. The fuse is good but the other end wasn't connected or grounded to anything. Any idea why or what this is for?

Xtra wire

The wiring diagram I have shows that the brown wire is a 12v feed to the rest of the system. it ties in with the Handle switch, CDI and the Rectifier. my guess is they were running an accessory off of it. I would eliminate it for safety. good luck with your project. :iagree:

Yeah, just trash it and run it back like stock.
