Odd... It is very very odd that 6th gear would slip and not first.

i had something like that happening when i got my warrior, and it ended up being that the reverse linkage was not adjusted right/engaging properly and would let it slip out of gear when enough power was put through the gears

Change your oil and use some really good 4 stroke oil, like amsoil, make sure it's 4 stroke, cause your more than likely running automotive oil right now and it's making your clutch slip

So what did you do to fix that?(I hate the stupid reverse shifter)

mine did it to i was cranking down the highway :-X to get to a trail and all of a sudden i slowed down and my engin tacked up really high so i slowed down and then it enguaged its self again i was also wondering that the problem is

The linkage has nuts on it loosen the nuts and turn the linkage bar to loosen or tighten. How could you ever hate the warriors reverse, i dont thik there is a sport quad out there that even comes close to the warriors reverse, its so simple.

yeah just adjust it with the nuts on the linkage so it pulls it deeper into the forward gears.

the warrior's reverse may have some flaws, but compared to any other real sport quad it's about the best system out there

No way, my 1986 Honda TRX 125 has the best . It has a little button right on the handle bars(where your left hand is).You just push the button in and shift down.It so much easier. The warriors takes forever and sometimes will not go into neutral or a gear. But it is a lot better than the raptors.

That's why I said any REAL sport quad. The 250ex has the same system for reverse, but I don't consider it to be a real sport quad either, just a recon with fancy plastic

But why does it only slip in 6th gear???
I can't give a definite answer on that, but when mine was slipping it only did it in the higher gears when there is more load put onto the gears

the higher the gear i was in the more often it would happen. it happened a couple times in 2nd, but more often in 3rd and up.
