87 warrior dead

I have an 87 warrior I picked up for my son. It needed a new stator so I found a whole 87 warrior I bought for parts. I swapped stators, wiring harness. I temp hooked up battery but nothing. I did find that the fuse by the celinoid had the wire going to the positive terminal was broke on the back side of the fuse holder. Would that make my quad not try to start at the button? Any other tips let me know. I haven't had this bike running since I got it a week ago. My son wants to ride. Thanks

I bought a multimeter but I'm not good with it. I think I'm doing it wrong. Help!

the fuse will do that man change it out and see what happens also make sure all connections are clean and greased for further protection

Problem solved. My coil cable to the spark plug was cracked . I checked to see if I had spark. Han not at plug but half way down wire. LOL

New wire ... Search plug wire mod.... Also could be the plug boot
