89 big bear 350

Got a zoom zoom carb for my 89 big bear. The old carb had a throttle line through the side and top. New carb has one throttle line connection. It controls the side and the top where the other line connected. Now I have one throttle wire with nowhere to connect. It still moves when I push the throttle. Any help would be appreciated.

You need to get a throttle cable from a later model Warrior, or Big Bear. They switched over to a single cable sometime around 1990.

So the single cable connects to the throttle and then to just the side connection on the carb?

Your stock carb has one cable that goes into the top and operates the slide. The other cable goes into the side, under the plastic cover, and operates the throttle plate and accel pump linkage. The slide is operated via the throttle plate and accel pump linkage on the single cable carbs.
