89 motor in a 2003 warrior

I found a 89 motor to put in my 2003 warrior was wondering if it would work in the frame and do i have to just change the stator and the flywheel and thats it??

It will fit. I think you are correct. Should only need to change stator and flywheel to match up the electronics.
