After reading about shifting problems, I replaced mine. I went to Cycle Gear and bought an MSR YZ/YZF/WRF Part #34-2147 shifter $27.99. It fits great and clears everything. I can tell a big difference in gear shifts. The old system was rusty and dry. It might have worked better with a little lube.
