I just bought a '07 raptor 350 about a month ago with jsut barely 14hrs on it. And as I was washing it down i noticed that my front left A-arm is bent on the top ball joint. it is noticable because the paint is cracking off at that point.

My question is do you all think it will be covered in the warranty. I won't have a chance to drop off my raptor until a few more days and just wanted some opinions.

And if it isn't covered then I was wondering if a Raptor 700 arm would fit or even a yfz 450 arm would fit. also are they reliable or should go for an aftermarket version. Because i know i can find some cheap factory a-arms on ebay.

The dealer will have to look at it to tell you if they'll cover it under warranty or not. If they think it was caused by abuse they won't cover it. But if they think it was caused by a factory defect, it will be covered under warranty. If I had to guess, I would say they'll point their finger at you, and say it's not covered under warranty because you were riding it too hard or crashed it. This is just how dealers tend to be. Unless you have a way to prove that it was never crashed or rode hard, you're probably **** outta luck. Not that all dealers are like that, some are cool and will treat their customers right, so it's still worth getting them to take a look.

No, there aren't any other a-arms that will match up to your frame, other than aftermarket ones built for the 350. Also keep in mind that if you get wider aftermarket arms, you'll also have to upgrade your shocks or it'll be a real soft squishy ride from that extra leverage.

Thanks man. Yeh I was afraid you were going to say that about the dealer because it seems like all dealers are like that. oh well i'll let yall know how they take care of their customers

Yep, it's going to be your fault no matter what....I've been thru it before. Too bad you didn't post this about a month ago. I just sold a set of four factory A-arms from an 05 Rappy for $30......lol.

Ahaha yeh.... didn't some one on this site put a raptor 700 a arm on their warrior. or did i see it some where else. oh wells i already want to get some wider a arms anyways and i guess i need some shocks with that as wells. any body know any good place to buy?

Somebody custom fitted some 660 a-arms on their warrior. It was a completely custom job though, he had to modify the a-arms some, and really re-invented the frame and shock mounts to get everything to fit right. I for one would rather spend $350 on a set of extended a-arms that come with a warranty.

yeah your right i will just wait till my next pay check to get a nice a-arm. would you all recommend wideing the rear axle too if i extend my a-arm

Yeah, do the rear too. The difference in handling is huge. I'd buy the ASR arms if I were you, they come with a lifetime warranty and they stand behind it. I broke a pivot pin on mine and they sent me a new one no questions asked. The only thing is if you're running stock shocks the warranty is void. Great product for the money though....

To widen the rear, if you haven't already just flip your rims and tire around. That alone will widen it up to about 2 inches. Of course a G Force or Dura Blue axle would greatly widen it.

On my 06 Raptor flipping the rears actually makes the rear narrower. I bought ITP 3+6 9 inch rims and that widened my rear by 2 inches.

What shocks do they recommend, and how much would this set me back. Also would flipping the rims make the rim wear worse?

shocks are rediculously priced...but you get what you paid for. i bent my upper right a arm riding...and looked at the asr arms and was thinking about replaying them with them....until i calculated the amount for shocks...it sucks....so i just sent some good cash on a new one from the dealer to replace it. maybe when i get more cash

Yeh i think i am goin to do the same thing because it will set me back about 1000 after a arms and shocks. I've been saving up for an lrd exhaust system, upgrade airfitler, rejet, and also converting it to oil cooled. that would just set me back about 600-700.

You'd be much better off with the suspenion mods than the motor mods. Realistically, most people will never push a 350 motor to it's limits. I know, I know.....I'm the fastest thing on four wheels and nobody can keep up with me...blah..blah..blah. Upgrade your suspension and see how much faster you become-with the stock motor. You'll be faster with good suspension than you will be with a big motor.

you knw something that makes more sense... because i do spend more time on the trails and yeah... F. it.. suspension first motor second. plus suspension mods look more freaking wicked than an exhaust pipe.
