Went to the northern section of the Oregon Dunes outside of Florence. I took a few pics with my phone.

went to start it and nothing, popped the seat and found this. The only thing we didn't bring was wire ends lol. I just held it on the battery to start it. We were both burnt out so good time to call it a day.

I'll tell you the deep dry sand sure does suck the power out your machine. but the wet stuff you can just get up and fly
 
Ya I do know that. I got to play on a sand pile 2 years ago on "Red Headed Step Child" right after I put the piston in. If I hit it at a good rate of speed, I was crawling by the time I hit the top.
 
Elwood, guys will pay more for those Fox Shox on your bros bike than the bike it's self. :evilface: I vintage race up at Woodland. :tup: I got rid of my 12C-A flooded battery and am running the PTX14ah-bs sealed battery. Cold Cranking Amps is higher on the 14.
 
looks like a lt of fun.. it woudl be great to have dunes aronud here

I know what the shocks cost and they came with the bike lol. I've talked to Thor Lawson about them a few times on the formula for the air pressure and I've seen what they sell for on vintage forums
