well, trying to put my jetkit in today never worked out so well. took off the carb, got everything in place and tried to slide the needle back into the sleeve and snap it into place, well the plastic snaps inside of the sleeve broke off. there 4 of them inside of the sleeve and 2 of them broke off because the spring went sideways and it broke off.

Just called a friend that works at my yamaha dealer, he said they run about $170+tax. Well, the part looks like you could buy it for $.50 not $170.

Where are you getting a new carb for $50?

If it were me, I'd go ahead and save for an Edelbrock rather than spending $170 on stock. I know that is a lot more money for an Edelbrock, but you've got nearly half of it at $170.

This is canadian money too remember. I know the warranty man good at the dealership and he said that he can try to cover it under warranty for me what size carb should i go with if it was aftermarket?

If you got the whole carb, you coulda taken the part you needed and Ebay'd the carb minus 1 piece...
