Ok, Im wondering what the advantages of running an air filter with the box adapter over running a stock replacement k&n style with a modded box lid? I would be running with no lid either way, but with the stock style k&n i would just have to mod my lid to hold the filter in. The way I see it that would save me 50 bones and Im a cheap dutchman so 50.00 is good! Opinions?

Soooo, what your saying is just stop being so cheap and buy the adapter set up.

Yea, I tried that one! She didn't go for it. " why do we need to spend more on an air filter for your quad that costs more than the one in your truck???" Ha!

just buy it and tell her you thought she said you could ... it easier to ask for forgiveness than permission when it comes to wives ......lol

You guys don't know my wife!! She would be all kinds of pissed! I don't like sleeping in my garage LOL

Hahaha! If you saw all the **** that I drag home on a weekly basis, my wife is quite understanding. She cheap. More so than me even!

I've got a question along the lines of this subject. I picked up the pro design adapter on ebay a while back with no filter. The part that the filter clamps to is oval. Is this the correct one? Is there a Uni that will fit? And does anyone have a parts#.
