airbox

want to take off the lid but if found another problem in terms of air flow

the filter doesnt line with the airbox...the hole isnt round on the inside of the box!!!???

should i cut it and make some kind of round adapter?

I have the same adapter. On the side that attaches to the box, file the ridge so it is flat. Put some Permatex or some sort of form a gasket, then put some self tapping screws to hold it on. Wait for it to dry and clamp your filter on. Works great. Homemade Pro-Flow setup.
