can't wait got my new DID cam chain,New 06 YZ250F direct shifter and flywheel puller for the 02 and a complete stator for the 01 should all be here in morning got some work to do this weekend or I'll get it all done today.

good ishh man. hopefully the shifter wont bend on you. ive seen it happen a few times. my stator went to had to get a new one =/ but its all good. hope u get everything on with ease man. =]

well had to do the direct shifter mod quick cause the 1 ball socket on the stock shift linkage is so worn out it keeps popping off and the cam chain is stretched so the tensioner only has a quarter inch left before it's fully extended
and I hope to hell it's just the stator on the 01 first time it quit it was the pick up coil so changed that and now it's doing it again and everything else checked out good so we'll see hey?

does the length of the shifter change much? i want to do this as well. what exact sz do i need exaclty? i wanna do this haha

most startors go....but i wouldve unbolted it and moved it while trying to start it....ect becuase it couldve just been something stupid...somehow my killswitch was blowing a fuse by my colenoid lol soo on an 01 u never no! goodluck

Thats the same shifter I have, I like it, but a little tough to find nuetral when the machine is hot.

I love this shifter all the gears are so close together now no slop and neutral is slight inbetween 1st and 2nd but a lot better with the new clutch and extra steel mod
