Aluminum airbox

I need a new airbox as mine is junk. I was either going to do a raptor 350 box and use custom lid with outerwear or buy an aluminum one. I already have the bolt on adapter and filter for the raptor box if I go that route. I'm wondering is the a/m box really worth the $100 or would my $30 raptor box do just as good.
