Why is it that the parts you need the most take the longest to arrive? I really need my swingarm bearing kit so I can put everything back together but its been 1.5weeks and all other parts iv ordered have arrived like chain etc but if the chain had taken longer I could have run the old one for a few days lol

you're just impatient about it. we all are like that waiting on new parts to arrive.

it's like christmas, you can't wait to open everything and hope you don't get socks and underwear.

this may be true... I did get the equivalent to socks and underwear this morning :( I bought some lights for a banshee for $40 on ebay knowing the guy had cut the wiring but what he didn't say is they are also missing the seal and one has a cracked reflector.

Usually I have good luck with used parts on ebay but I guess I had to get screwed at some point.

My plan now is to use Black RTV Gasket Maker to seal the lens's to the Housing and that should work.. so better than no lights. As far as the wires go I was planing on just using spade connectors to connect them up :)

didnt you order those from "bossbearing" ? mine came in like 2 days, then i bitched cause the rollers were falling out and they sent me a 2nd set in 2 days, im in nj, maybe thats the diff

Swing arm bearing are all over the map in price.. I needed the rod that goes through too so I got this kit.. http://www.ebay.com/itm/PIVOT-WORKS...&otn=5&po=LVI&ps=63&clkid=8309923682906967118 I am sure they will be decent because I have never had an issue with pivot works also my dust caps are cracked etc so definately needed full kit

After I ordered this I then tried to remove the old bearing race(the bearings themselves came out in the form of dust) which ended up being one piece with the swingarm due to the bearing being so worn... so now I am going to replace the whole swingarm and the one I found on ebay is from a 2005 warrior for $60 and it says its bearings are in excellent condition(the whole swing arm looks likes its never been used and is definately the factory finish).. oh well guess ill have a spare set of bearings

hmm tough call for $8.5 cause for that price you would just replace them at the end or beginning of every season... I would hope they would be good enough to last that long
