I have one I'm going to be putting on my 01 warrior. I think it will work good with the mods I have. Any idea what is a good starting poing for jetting on that size of FCR? I have about every size jet for the fcr carb but looking for a good starting point. I love the FCR carb, have one on my kfx and it is amazing. Just not sure where to start on jetting. Probably gunna throw it on and let the machine tell me what it needs.

3 of us are running the 39mm FCR, myself included. Idk how close the two carbs are to one another, but, I've read that the 37 has accel pump issues. It's taken some time to loads of jets to get it right. But, jet WAY big and go down from there. If you want to use my current jetting as a starting point you are welcome to: 62 pilot, 192 main, 3rd notch from bottom of needle, and nearly 2 turns out on the mixture screw.

I'm not sure why there would be a problem with the acc pump, they are the same setup and my fcr40. Only thing that is different is the leak jet could be a different size. I did have a little problem with the 40 I have on my kfx but got it fixed by using a 35 leak jet and adjust the timing of the acc pump. I will give your jetting a try and see what it does. one thing I don't understand is to me those jet sizes look huge:eek:. I say that because on my 40 I run a 48 pilot and 175 main and that is on a highly modded kfx 434. I will have to see what jets are i the 37mm stock. I'm for sure putting the 35 leak jet cuz that and pump timing fix the well known FCR bog. Oh just wondering what intake are you using to mount the spigot mount carb to the warrior head? I made one that will work but I'm sure there is something better to use.

Im running a 39fcr, jetting is 58 pilot, 192 main, needle second from top notch, 2 rounds out on a/f screw.

Both of us have highly modded warriors.

If I were to try a 37, I would start 50pilot, 175 main and middle notch on the needle. That should be close

I just read that the accel pump can be finiky on the 37. I have never used one. I read a build thread on 3ww about a guys 430 stroker in his atc350x, and he ran 41mm FCR, and he jetted way big. Dude dissappeared for a year, came back, gave a ride review, and told his current jetting. Idk what it was exactly, but, it was around what yours is on your KFX, I do remember it having a 75 leak jet.

Weston and I have spent LOTS of time jetting our carbs,, he more so, and the plug chop doesn't lie. I build my own intake manifolds and use silicone reducer tube to join the carb to it. Weston builds intakes/air boxes. I have one.

so all you guys running the fcr 39 are you still stock bore? I was thinking the 39 might be a little large for the stock bore but maybe I'm wrong

well I just found out that the FCR 37 I bought I'm no longer getting because the seller said it was damaged. So I got refunded. So should I be looking for an fcr39 then? Just so you know I'm stock bore with wiseco high comp piston , stage 1 hotcam, alot of head porting. Would the 39 work better for me or should I look for another 37?

In my personal opinion go for another 37. Levi, I really don't care about the box right now, I just want the track special asap. Hell, Pat and I leave for Hatfield Friday of next week.

Even more reason its not gunna happen! I'm not coming with you! Hahaha

Can I ask why you say that? Is the 39 a bit much for the stock bore? I kinda think it would be but what do I know.

The 39 is great on a built stock bore, its a bit oversized on a stock motor warrior. Ive always wanted to try a 37.

I got a pic of one box thats cut. James gets it because of his trip if theirs only one cut, I get back in town Friday night. I will have something to you James by Tuesday so you will have it.

well I decided to try the fcr 37 for the warrior. Found one with very low hours for 120 bucks so if I don't like it I should be able to get my money back. I would think it would be alot better than stock since the stocker is a 36 I think?? and also has the butterfly and shaft to restrict flow. If not I will sell it and look for a 39. I will be sure to let you all know how it works.
