The steels in the tusk have dimples in them, and the friction material is very very cheap. they dont hold at all. slipped so bad (it was in mine when i got it) that it ruined my pressure plate. I would probly trust weston on this one bcuz he is hard on parts and would def know!!!
Thanks for the complement.
I have shelled 5 clutches throughout my warriors life
1, stock lasted till it needed its first topend (machine was mostly stock)
2, Barnett lasted 8months in a very mild motor.
3, the first driveline lasted 11 months on a slightly better then moderate motor
4, second driveline lasted till the end of the breakin process on a heavly modded357 motor.
5, driveline's prototype clutch is still good at 2 months with the same motor as the previous clutch,
but a crank failure is all that stopped it, the clutch is still good but the motor wont run.
I own 1 warrior 1 raptor and have buddys with warriors, clutching is one thing I am good at out of necessity. Another clutch everyone says is good is DP but I never shelled the $150 for one to test it.
Thats just my .02, and I have found a clutch will hold better without the wave washers, with a extra thick steal plate. The best steal plates are NOT dimpled like the stock, tusk, ebc, and Barnett are.
