Has anyone ever used something like this with a dirtbike?

Im buying another ranger 2wd with a 4 cylinder and my buddy is gonna buy that trailer so i can put my quad in the bed and his bike on the trailer. has anyone used these? are they pretty sturdy?

also do you think a 2wd ranger with a 4 cylinder would be able to haul the quad and the dirtbike?

basically the ranger would have to haul about 800lbs is that feasible? i need a reliable way to get to wellsville ya know!

those work good, my uncle had one and never had a problem with it. as for the wieght it shouldn't be an issue. I've had a warrior and a yfz450 in the back of a 83 datsun and got drove it 200 miles, just a little light on the steering.

Yupp, we have one. Had to wield on it to beef it up but works great. Little sketchy to look back and see the bike flopping back and forth but its held up great.

cool thanks for the input guys i think i might go ahead with it!

i found a diff ranger now with a 3.0 so its a little more power and its 4wd. thanks all!

the only thing im worried about now is i am prolly gonna get a +4 axle and extended a arms.....

i dunno if the quad will fit in the bed with that modification has anyone experienced it?

The way thats made square tubing and some bolts down the middle welded on a hitch, you could almost make one like that and it would be more sturdy. I would have the part where the bike is sit down a little like a curved channel just to keep it from wanting to slide off but thats just me.

alrighthy update on the truck situation!!

came across a ford ranger, black 4x4 stick and ext cab.

got the 6 foot bed... tempted to get it but its pushing it since the warrion is 6 foot long!!!

i hope i can fit it in the bed hahah!

keep the tail gate down and your good to go. Just strap it in nice and tight.

Ya that's what I will do but I don't think the dirtbike trailer will work if the Gate is down :(

you can air down the rear tires and squeeze that gate closed... or extend the hitch shaft on the dirtbike trailer.

**** take the gate off..
