Hey everyone,

New to the ATV sport and the forum but I know there's a vast amount of experience here. I am trying to optimize space in my garage and considering storing my 2000 Warrior 350 in a vertical position with the rear wheels on the floor. Can anyone let me know if there's any potential damage to the ATV as a result of storage in this manner. Obviously I would insure the fluids are not leaking and the bike would be returned to normal position for 10 minutes or so before starting to allow the fluids to return. Does anyone know of potential problems this could cause?

thank you for your time

If you do this, the only problem could come from corrosion. Storing in this position you will be uncovering some of the parts of the engine that always sets in oil. Things like tranny gears and such. If you do this use a good quality storage oil. I would use a couple tubes of cam breakin lube. Change the oil before you store it using cam-breakin lube in the oil. This breakin lube sticks to parts and does not drip off. You can even run the engine with this breakin lube in the oil and it will not hurt a thing. We use this cam breakin lube with every oil change in our flat tappet cam engines along with some zinc.

thank you for the reply. I appreciate your input.
