axel chain question

how do u move the axle to loosen the chain i took the caing half off and lossend the 4 bolts and it still wont work im ******* pissed i only have 2 hours b4 it gets dark wen i get home from skool. im making a temperary fix until monday wen my parts come i undid the master link and took out 2 links to shorten my chain and i cant move the dam axle forward to loosen it wtf do u have to do i tried jacking the back enf up prying it and hitting it with a hammer to push it forward wtf do u have to do

how do u loosen the warriors chain

There are 2 adjusters at the rear of the carrier.

Loosen the lock nuts, and turn the adjusting bolt.

Make sure you turn the bolts exactly the same amount our you will throw your rear end out of alignment.

i said loosen as in it wont loosen it was tighened all the way and i got a new chai nand now need to loosen it to put the new chain on

loosen the 2 big bolts on the carrier, then turn out the adjusting bolts all the way. That's all there is to it

but it stays tighened i tryed rocking it back and fourth and hitting it forward with a rubber mallet wats wrong?

you loosened the 2 BIG bolts on the carrier? They run the same direction as the axle, one on top of the carrier and one underneath it. There is a total of 4 bolts you have to loosen for this

Where the 2 BIG bolts run through the carrier- maybe the other part (forget what it is called) is 'pinching' the carrier and not allowing it to rotate forward??

Maybe it needs to be pryed open a little bit

Just a thought...

Maybe the rear hub and swingarm are binding on each other?

Well the only way it would move with a rubber mallet is if the rear end was loose already. Make sure the bolts that run through the carrier are finger loose, and give it a few swift kicks with both feet at the same time on both sides of the axel, while sitting on your ass behind the quad. Make sure it is on a jack or anything, just up off the ground. As long as the bolts/nuts are loose it should move very easily.


And come on Turbo you can do it!

k im gonna loosen the bolts all the way jack it up and spray it down with wd40 lol and thanks everybody for helping i gotta get this done i wanna do some more wheelies lol and get more videos so i can make more movies
