So to do the Banshee rear shock linkage, do you just need the aluminum piece or do you need the cast iron small link also?

What are the benifits? Is it worth it? Do I need any other parts?

it is the dog bone piece that is different, the part tht looks like a fork is the same. it raises the rear end up and worth it depends on you, for me it was because i wanted a slightly taller bike but some like their bikes low

Yah.. Swapping out the dogbone will lift the rear of your quad about 1,1/2" inches. Maybe 2" inches..
