well, i hope you guys were right!!!! i just bought a rear banshee shock from an 02. looked almost mint. had a pivot works bearing kit installed about a month ago. only cost 85 bucks and free shipping. i was really wanting an 01 raptor rear because of the remote rezzie, but i couldnt pass up this deal.

You will like the adjustability. Its got a much more plush ride, not to mention it gives you a great ride and a near bottomless feel to the rear. Ive been jumping with mine and i love it, soaks up impacts much better.

my front shocks were totally shot when i bought it, so i'm assuming the rear is also. pretty sure it is leaking. couldnt beat the price on the banshee shock. i've decided to postpone modifying the second motor for a while. cant use the power if the quad doesnt handle. next month will hopefully be either a-arms or rear axle and carrier.
