allright, a few weeks ago i rode the quad...and i figured out that the quad didnt want to start, due to a loose battery terminal

after that about a week later, it didnt want to start and the fuse thingy (under left fender, its round) made a buzzing noise...so i figured it was the battery (dead)

this weekend we checked it and, there was absolutley nothing in the battery....so we filled it with some disitlled water, charged it and then it started fine a few times...i bought new lights but we cant put them on with a screwy battery

do you think it is shot ... or is there anything else i can do that wont cost alot of money?

I dont know why its completely empty, is there a crack in it? How old is the battery? If its still holding a strong charge its not shot. If you dont have a 3-stage trickle charger (battery tender) then id get one!

Well, after a quick inspection it appears that water is coming out of he breather on the side of the battery top.

I don't get it. It's not full to the top. Maybe a little above the full line, but not overflowing.

And it hasn't been running, so it's not charging. Which means it's not boiling over or anything...

WTF?

i hate warrior electrical systems. period. they suck

There is nothing wrong with the Warrior Electric system; it actually is built very well besides the troublesome fuse holder and that is a very small easily upgraded item. Most electric problems can be tied into owner neglect or simply just wear and tear. If you want a bad electric system look at the 400/300EX - crap. The location of the battery is probably the most retarded place you can put one among other things; the factory run switch on the 400EX is also ******* garbage. The older Suzuki (and even new) wiring is a ******* rats nest.

you make me laugh doug, lol. I was wonderin about my battery...I went to ride it, and it was TOTALLY dead, no sound even came anywhere...no lights, NOT A THING! Then i ran it, and the lights were strong, but like 2 minutes after i turned it off, the battery went completely dead again...wtf. I also noticed a puddle under my quad and it turned the cemet floor a rust type water color. Is it the battery leaking?

Yeah but what makes me laugh even more is that the capable people that take care of things on their bike never have any abnormal mechanical problems :-D! Batteries go dead, bad, and need to be maintained if not in use. The task placed on all batteries by the harsh vibrations and drain from the off-road environment takes its toll.

It's easy to point the finger at a manufacturer isn't it? These are offroad vehicles and they get beat on; **** breaks, fails, needs constant attention. This is the name of the game, deal with it.

You don't see myself, boxhead, pelphrey, RMC or anyone else on that level having "problems" do you?

Hammer you cannot run the machine for 2 minutes and expect the battery to hold a full charge in the first place. And it sounds like you need a new battery to me.
