ok so i was out at the track saturdaywith the whole quadforce crew and broke a tierod end and bent the right side tierod on my asr +2s so i ran home got another off a broke yammy and rode the rest of the day bet tierod and all no issues but while i was there a guy offered his oem yfz tierods and joints if they could help and after studying them they are a ton tougher!!! they use 10mm ends were the warrior uses 8mm and ive founds aftermarket upgraded ones for the yfz that use 12mm ends:eek: thats huge!! has anyone tried it befor i measured the ones on mine and they are 12.5 in long and the ones on the X's are 12.25in long so it sould be a dirrect fit except imma need ends for the larger tie rods but it sounds like a good idea right?

Could also look into Honda style tie rods...
Honda's have male rods with female ends, while Yamaha has the female rod with male ends.
The Honda rods are much less likely to bend the tie rod end due to their design, where I think that the Yamaha design is weaker

You can get aftermarket ones that are set up like that from asr maybe they will warrentie these and give me some yfz X's instead of more warrior ones

I run +3 yfz450 tierods with my +5 a arms. BTW 04 and 05 have 8mm ends later model yfz450 have the 10mm ends so when you order some make sure not to get ones from the 1st couple yrs

I have been tolasy to call asr but I am 100% positive the 450X rods and ends will fit and asr sells them to fit oem but with the male rods and female ends

I got ARS rods with the heim ends. I i bent of break these, I have other issues.

What? Take pics I want to see these

FYI, there $160 shipped! And they get noise, but they deff wont break. I got them for x-mas from my folks a few years back.
