what caused this? 1st is sprocket side, all scored up - 2nd is rotor side, not so bad. No marks on axle to inflict that! Im not worried bout it (nothin rides there) (the little tit is my new zerk) Just found it interesting, thought maybe others might too.

Something had to have gotten in there to have caused that. Bearings may have gone bad and the balls and or cage made its way in there, and got caught around the spacer tube.

well i just looked at tube -perfect - not to say this stuff wasnt replaced BUT I know who I bought it from and there as handy as a 3 dollar bill ! I dont believe it was run hard, most neglect I see is leaving in the weather. (PB BLASTER IS MY FRIEND)

It was the bearing on the sprocket side blew. They must have replaced the spacer though. Same **** happened to mine. I had to buy another carrier off of 87warrior.

well im gonna run with it,bad harm no foul thou ....correct???

as long as the bearings fit nice and tight should be fine just fill that carrier full of grease

yea.....i was thinking same thing.....almost like it left machine shop like that, ya think you would find at least something to go with that ****, but thats it, bearings fit, tube good, axle has issues-but not related to THATT! hell, id have hard time to b that bad in shop!!!! lol

I like GenPats comment-------------"CUSTOM"------ i got it nobody else does!!!! haha:haha:

So i got the story on this today, apparently he had a strap on a rack and it fell off wrapped around the axle n got sucked into the carrier!!!! I would imagine the hook to do that machining work, dunno, hard to believe....
