I knew my steering stem was bent when I noticed it was rubbing the gas tank but I didn't know how bad it was till I checked out some of the bare frame pics that showed the steering stem mount. When I put my HMF on I saw the frame was bent at the grab bar mount enough you couldn't get one bolt in. I beat on it with various tools til I could get the bolt in. Today I put a 2x4 up against the neck and beat on it till it looked straight so I can put my LSR +2 stem on. I have some pics, does it look straight enough now.

I'm welding a reinforcement on my frame. Its prepped for PC as we speak. FINALLY!!

I bent my steering like yours, i also pounded it back as straight as i could get it and made some gussets for it.

So far its held up and i have 4 races on it. The pic above doesnt show it welded in, i took the pic when i was mocking it up.
