Still have to pressure wash the motor and change oil & filter and do a few other odds and ends and get a rear skid and blead the front brakes but she runs great and the clutch is strong and way more ballsy than my 02
but she runs great clutch is good

gotta get a new seat cover too
but she cleaned up pretty damn good if I say so myself.
and this was all done in 3 days totally tore down to frame engine out every nut bolt it's starting to get too easy lol

Looks good. Well, atleast better than that dirty warrior in the background, lol. Your boy happy?

Nope plus we are at the wifes sisters in Minnesota for the weekend
Im. doing this from my droid if the wife knew she'd kill me lmao

Have to go into work tomorrow, which we didn't expect to need to do. Got to install the steering ram into my tractor, then get hay, and have to put a roof on a shed... the list goes on. Oh yeah, have to get the dressing room of my horse trailer started and mostly finshed before next weekend so I have a place to sleep. Will be getting on the wardog between things.

thanks N3ver and Cody I would have done a total resto and repaint but my boy wanted to get it back together and running good so he could go riding with me next weekend. but for 3 days of which about 4 hours each day we worked on it she turned out pretty good for 12 hours of our time. still gotta change the oil and filter and blead the front brakes and get a skid for the rear axle but other than those 3 things she runs great and has a hell of a lot more power than my 02

so has anybody ever had any luck repairing cracked fenders?
any and all info on how too and what products used would be great

I just usually stiche them together with zip ties.
That's the way it was when I picked her up Gen then on the trailer ride home the wind ripped all the stitching but one so I stiched her back up again but I remember seeing a guy back in the day repairing a snowmobile hood with fiber glass and ressin just wondering if anyone has ever attempted a fix on plastic fenders and had good results

how about a race cut?
I thought about that N3VER but the way it's cracked it would have to be cut to almost nothing flaring out and when I ran the set of race cut fenders for my 02 I didn't like the way rocks kept hitting me in my chin under my helmet and mud and sand piled up on the motor I just like the full fender look for safety reasons since my son and my wife also will be riding it the most

Use a soldering iron, and melt the broken part back together.
I've done it lots, and always have good results. The trick is finding a piece that you can scavenge some filler from.. The battery box is a good place to whittle a piece from.
Use the iron, and poke holes into the crack. (Giggity) This will fuse the broken part. Then use the filler piece to fill in the holes, and the crack.
Build most of the weld up on the inside of the fender, then you can sand down the outside.

I'll have to try that Mathius after I try a really good 2 part epoxy and see if that will hold it all together
