I took a heavy hit on my front bumper this weekend, and it bent both of the lower bumper mounts on the frame. It's not the standoff itself that bent, it's the gusset plate it's mounted on that got bent. It's nothing too extreme, but enough that the bumper would be noticably crooked if I could even get it to fit at all.

My question is: does anybody have any suggestions for bending them straight again? I don't want to break them off or damage them by just pounding on them with a hammer, but so far that's my best idea.
 
heat it up mount it with a few bolts (2) and tweak it by hand until it looks straiht, dont you love it when those dang trees jump right out in front of you?
