I know all about that. My friend put +2 asr arms on his offset rims and its pritty wide. I put +2 asr arms on my stock rims and it seems perfect for the woods i havent had a chance to get it out yet since i put them on.

I was just going to say that, stay with standard 3x2 fronts if you go with +2s, the 2x3s actually add 2 more inches. I have the Wicked +3s and 2x3s, my front is like 50 inches, I want to get the 3x2s to narrow it just a bit. Screw Works, I had them, there def 10 times better then stock but wear out fast, and works is so expensive to rebuild and respring I just bought elkas instead. And you have to respring every time you change the suspention geometry, like going up or down in a arm size, or the weight rating. The $450 elkas IMO are well worth the doe.

Here's my xc Z400. Notice I have the elka shocks you're talking about. Also, look above the shock, that little metal rode poking out from the right (Clutch side) fender. That's a steering stabilizer. Dont even think about riding xc without one. The only thing is that z400s are wider stock, then warriors, so you should buy extended a-arms and longtravel shocks at the same time.

yes, i planned on getting the stabilizer, could i go with the cheaper one or what? i think i will stick with the elka shocks and standard width a-arms with the offset front wheels if i ever get a-arms wouls +1 +1 need the shocks redone?

I run the stick stlye as you can see, basically the cheaper one. They work freaking awesome, never had a problem with mine. You won't really notice it untill you ride again without one.

I paid like 70 bucks for mine, but I bought it used off a friend. Brand new I'm guessing 150-175? My brand is a Denton. Look up what other brands there are. Check or how many different settings they come with, mounting system, and even if they have a rebuildable option.

I would get elkas with rezzie, or if you end up with works get rezzies for xc. It will make them last longer, the oil in them wont break down as fast from overheating. And yes a stabilizer is amazing, i put one on mine. Damn i like it.

[quote:2i5lnpyt]How? I thought you still haven't rode you're bike yet?
You dont have to use it to love it. I can tell when i just sit on it and turn the bars fast its going to help with the ruts and **** i hit. [/quote:2i5lnpyt]

I know before I even rode my bike I put the shocks on it and I could tell a difference..??
