I've watched tons of videos and just wanted some Input from you guys/gals.

I have used lots of ways to bring the shine back, here are some of my tips, If you have white marks on fenders from rollovers or flips a heatgun will draw them back not 100% but it helps, On youtube they have videos on them DO NOT hold the gun directly on them but on a low setting about 8 inches away. If your plastics are white a Magic eraser, does wonders. as far as cleaning them I use novus restoration kit I found on ebay it works. But the best product i have used is a can of maxima SC1 this stuff is the real deal!!! I hope this helps.

Propane torch heat gun and nufinish

. I was thinking about trying to buff my old plastics (the ones I went alittle deep when sanding and spray painted) . I wonder if the buff will smooth them out and add a shine??

Here's a pic you can see that they were spray painted and looks rough.

.

They looked good right after I sprayed them but after my 1st ride it went down hill . It's like the mud get stuck in the rough parts of the paint (if that makes sense)

Alot of wet sanding to smooth it once smooth spray adhesive promoter than paint color of your choice than clearcoat

If your gonna use adhesion promoter you will need to completely sand off all the old paint. I would use 600 grit and then go over that with 1000. Should be plenty smooth. 1500 grit would take you forever to get all the paint off.

It's still going to have the spotted looked because I'm using a spray can correct??

maybe you guys dont roll yours, ever. I bought my 06 Rappy 350 new in white, so i wouldn't see creases from bending the fenders. Paint just flakes off when you roll it over, right?

No I've rolled it twice since the paint job and no creasing it chips
