good god thing runs like a damn bat outta hell!

I would say you were bored, might be a thing for ya, do port jobs on chain saws for side jobs. I wondered about this on my weed eater and blower to make run faster and get some power out of them but thought it would make it worse.

I might give a try one of these days I have a old poulan blower thats in parts in the garage thats identical to our craftsman blower and see what I will do before going at it on a working machine. What did you use a dremal or die grinder.

well the saw new choked down with a perfectly sharp new chain (14in saw) now i have a 18" bar and chain with filed drag links... thing eats! lol i wouldn't have dreamed you could gat that much power outta cheap ass poulan. bad part... goes through a tank of gas in about 20 min

Damn that thing is monster, but still in 20 min you should be able to cut alot of wood. I still never woudl have thought this would have worked. Maybe the next one do a small port job on it till you find that sweet spot but still keep gas useage down.

i was out for power haha. i still got my stock 24" saw for normal wood cuttin. i'mma find me a used stihl ms660 or 066 and do a big bore kit + mild port and polish on. i love chain saws lol

If you like saws look in a northern tool catalog, the have a chain saw thats 108cc and will accept up to a 72" bar!!!! And they have some that have chains that will cut concrete.

i know  the 066 and ms660 pull 59" bars stock. i think whith a big bore and port/polish and can get a 72"er on there np

I love this kind of stuff too, the weird tools or even bigger weird tools, the big machinery it takes to do job, I love it.
