Hi Im new to the forums and i was wondering if someone could give me some advise,
I have a 2011 raptor 350 and i wanna put a bigger piston in it without making any changes to the head, what piston should i use? And if i do bore it out do i have to rejet or put a different air filter in? And what's a cam and what does it do and do i need one??

you could use a wiseco piston to make it 353 or 357 or a je to make it 366. you dont need any changes to the head for a piston. you may not have to rejet but then again you may its all what your motor does. you dont need a new filter but its a good idea to get a clamp on one

you dont need a new cam. cams control the opening of the valves in the head. different cams open and close the valves at different rates and down at different distances.

Welcome to the site, take some time to read past posts. This has been covered dozens of times. Enjoy.

with questions like that im assume you are kinda new to working on engines, i would suggest starting with an exhaust, jets, and air filter just to get your feet wet and learn alittle bit about jetting

Ditto, you really don't want your 1st engine experiences to be that raw. If ya get it out of time or foul up a gasket it's gonna start costing ya. Besides that, you're gonna need the filter, some jetting & a good exhaust to really lay the foundation for a cam upgrade or increased compression. Welcome btw.

Welcome.

If its not smoking then i wouldnt change the bore size, maybe just swap out for a higher compression in the same bore, after all its brand new... Boring a motor, your not gonna feel that much improovement. The big bores that alot of us have just compensate and make the head mods shine.

But i agree with everyone else, do the simple bolt ons first to get started.
