Are you getting any voltage to the brake light wire going into the light when you hit the switch?

when the running lights are on yes.. when they are off and i apply the brakes no..

i tried to trace the wiring up to any of the brake switches and found that it only leads to the ON/RUN/Light switch..

did these bikes not come with an illuminating brake light, just a running light?

The only Warriors that have an actual brake light are the 2002-2004 models, and all Raptors have them. If you read bomber315's thread, the thread is about modifying the quad so that it does have a brake light on a 87-01 model that has a running light tail only.

well i feel like a dick..

i didnt know, so in order to put some working brake lights I gotta rig up a switch system.. which is pretty much what Bomber is doing in his thread..

open mouth.. insert foot.

thanks!

yeah i wasnt trying to be a complete ass on that other post i just dont want a bunch of stuff messing up my 1/2 done tutorial... i now had a working brake light and it took about 3 hours to do and i did it the not so easy way... i got 10 minutes to be to work so i wont be able to finsih the tuitorial right now... probably tomorrow ill have it all posted with the pics and parts list...

the way i did it was not the easiest way but cost much less than the $50 rappy parts

its cool, i didnt realize the ground I was stepping on when i posted.. im interested to see how ya did it!
