When washing my raptor I noticed both bulbs broke off at the base, they were bouncing around inside the headlight. Anyone had this happen to them? I was gonna remove my headlights any way but was surprised this happened, seemed really weird . My quad has about 30-40 hours on it.

It never happened to me, but I have heard stories of it happening before. I don't really know what would cause it, aside from yamaha using cheap bulbs

Hey not to steal the thread but if u said u were gonna take them off would you wanna sell them? cause one of my holy things snapped and im lookin for one...

And no that has never happened to me and ive been over some pretty bumpy terrain at like 5-6th gear wide open

it has happened to me....you touched the light and hit a big bump....the oil on your hands makes them pop and there will be **** all over the insides of the lenze and it wont come out.....sucks

My bulbs didnt shatter, theyre intact. they just broke the outer ring.

I had the same thing happen to my 04 Raptor, they both popped loose from the mounting retainers on the bulbs on the same day. Had to solder the rings back on the bulbs. ;D

Seems like buying new bulbs would have been less trouble... :p
