burnt out rings/hole in piston

my quad was run lean for a while due to torn intake boot and it puffs blue smoke especially at high rpm is this rings or hole in piston im j/w im buying a whole new piston and rings but im just wodering if im able to tell

Check your top end gaskets , they could be worn out.

Id say its actually valve seals. If not its rings, a hole in the piston would ruin all your compression and it probebly wouldnt run period.

how hard are valve seals to replace and how much$ ill buy them along with the piston
