Whats up guys, brand new to the site.

My warrior has been ticking for quite some time now. I have adjusted the valves and it seems to not be the problem. I looked at the cam chain and it is stretched out and needs replacing.

I was wondering, which exact chain should I buy? and is it possible to break and rivet the chain to where i can guide it around using the old one so that I dont have to open up the bottom crank case?

You can't break the chain, you have to open up the stator cover. You will also need a flywheel removal tool, they're like $30 on ebay. The only two good cam chains are OEM and D.I.D. brands. I run a D.I.D. chain in my warrior and it works perfect.

o ok, that makes sense. so how exactly do I put the new chain on since it comes in one piece? will it come with enough slack to ring it around, then have the tensioner do all the work?

awesome, thanks so much man. Now i know what I'm dealing with
