What would be the best all around cam for my bike I don't want a huge gap like lots of top end and no low end or lots of low end with no top end I want the best over all performance upgrade for my quad.

Which one out of those two would you recommend I do a lot of trail riding but at the same time I like to go fast when I'm riding the gravel roads lol would a stage two hot cam be good for this I have a chance for a good deal on one

The web is better hands down. However, you will have to pull the head off and have heavy duty valve springs installed because the cam is too aggressive for the stockers. The Hotcam can be used with stock springs. I've run one, it's OK at best.

stage 2 HC is more top end and usually performs best in a stroker motor
a lot of the guys here including me will tell you the stage 2 HC is JUNK!!!
not worth the time or $$$
web is your best bet

I ran a S1HC for a year, I won't run another. The Webb, Megacycle or CWR grinds are much better.. I couldn't stand the loud ass valvetrain noise with the S1HC and stock springs. I'm sure this will start an argument but some people say you can put the HD springs on the HOTCAMS and stop the noise but they're cast cams, not billet. It's my opinion that a HOTCAM is on borrowed time with the additional spring pressure of HD springs.

And on comparison to my CWR the power increase was minimal. I felt like the bike pulled pretty much like stock until the last few hundred RPMs. The only increase it gave was a bit more topend power. About the point where the stock cam was totally out of breath the S1HC still had some pull in it.

Well more or less that's what I'm lookin for is a little more breath if I had it my way I would like a cam that just gives me more top end and I keep my low end but I might go with the stage 1 hot cam

You can't have both. I have run the HC1, HC2, Mega 252, an the Web 430.
The Web 430 is still in my bike because it is the best all around grind for me.
But with all that said, the 430 will not perform on your bike like it does mine. Well unless your mods are identical.
If you can find a 430 buy it, it gives you room to grow.

Uh, I looked it up and mega and Webb just hard weld the OEM cast cams and regrind them, they don't even offer a billet option. CWR offers a billet cam option, but the normal one is the same OEM hard weld regrind cam.
Hot cams are fine for mild builds.

With that said I want a .390 lol

Either way, Alex, there's a reason why HOTCAMS does not invite you to add heavy springs to their cams and it damn sure isn't b/c the stock spring does a fine job of controlling the valve.....thus the noise. Spend your cash where you will, you work for it do as you please, I just don't know very many YFM guys that have a S1HC and sit back and say....wow, that's amazing! On the other hand though, my CWR .450 makes me say...damn, that's nice!

Mega does/did have billet cams. And, in all honesty, I'd buy a Mega before I buy a Web. Greg at CWR told be that Web cams can get air pockets in them because of the welding method they use. Unless you get a custom ground one, and not an off the shelf cam of theirs. I do have a Web in my old Fourtrax 4x4, and have had no issues.

I do love my Mega 252x1 (.450 lift in/ex, 272* duration).
