What is the easiest way to remove the camshaft from the head?

How about the inner cam roller bearing?

thanks

remove front plastic and tank, remove rocker covers and cam sprocket cover. Take and get timing mark to TDC, with the line on cam sprocket facing up. Remove cam chain tensioner. While holding the flange under the bolt on yor timing stator cover, loosen bolt on cam sprocket. Remove cam sprocket -don't drop chain down into block - put a wire tie through it. There is a holding bracket for your cam visible now -remove it. Put cam sprocket bolt back in some and pull -cam should come right out.

Don't know about the inner bearing -never had to pull one -shouldn't be to difficult to figure out as the outer one slides right out.

thanks for the reply.

I've got everything apart, it's just not sliding out, I can't get it to budge

Did you loosen you rocker arms? Could be hanging up on one.

For the inside bearing I had to use a hammer and screwdriver, split it and take it out in pieces.

check and make sure the keyway is up. that is the position where the lobes cant catch on the rockers. As long as the rockers are clear -the only thing that can hold it back is the outer race of the outside bearing and the inner of the inside. The bolt is long enough that a puller can be made with a metal plate with a hole in it. Don't go crazy on - it should come out easy

Thanks for the replies.

I actually made a slide hammer out of one of the head bolts, worked pretty good.
