I bought a 98 warrior 350. ran good , then got it home I notice it runs good and smooth up to 1/4 throttle after that it starts to miss and cut in and out, chugs a little on top end( pulls hard then falls on it s face) will keep doing this , its pretty annoying. I completely cleaned the carb twice jets were clear the needle had clip in middle. 145 and 45 jets. its all stock besides unifoam filter box still has lid with no holes.its not the pb. already sanded ground on reverse switch. . it seems to idles good. just runs crappy over 1/4 throttle in every gear. any info would be greatly appreciated. topic seems beaten to death but cant really find a case like this.

do a plug chop and see if it's rich or lean that will tell you what curcuit is the issue
pilot idle to 1/4
needle 1/4 to 3/4
main 3/4 to full throttle

more than likely you'll just have to move the clip up a notch to lean it out if it's rich or down a notch to richen it if it's lean

hope this helps

ya its running rich. plug was pretty black and going throgh a lot of gas. Ill try moving it up a notch . I just did the carb couple of hours ago.
