So I rebuilt my carb with a SHINDY rebuilt kit .. replaced the float valve and seat.. put all back together and fuel would not enter carb.. float needed adjustment. adjusted within specs approx 1/2" and now it leaks out drain tube.. float was off quite a bit when i adjusted.. and now i am going to have to move it outside the specs in the service manual. has anyone had this issue with shindy valve and seat? any ideas to what to do would be a great help

I never go by the specs.
I just adjust it until it stops leaking.

I rebuilt my carb on my 96 warrior with the same rebuild kit. I replaced the seat, needle valve, and the jets. I had the same problem with gas coming out of the drain tube. Just shut the gas off and tap the carb bowl a few times and it should seat the needle in the valve. Not sure if it will work with your warrior but it's worth a shot.
