hey guys i have a 2002 a friend of mine rebuilt the carb for me last week it was running perfect. idleing fine running fine i tried to start it over the weekend and it would not start. shot sum starting fluid in fired right up but is screaming. throttle cable is fine not stuck if i throittle up it just screams even louder. any ideas the person who worked on carb works for a well known shop so all good there i did pull the petcock off and cleaned screans fuel is good im stumped. thanks for any help

how can it be the idle screw i never touched it it was idleing and running perfect last week sat for a few days than started acting up

Make sure that all your intake boots are good, tight, have no cracks, etc.. Could be pulling in unmetered air and leaning it out.

ok its still not right i pulled carb checked throttle cable at carb checked intake boot all were good added inline fuel filter and still doing the same thing my only guess would be carb at this point anyone have any ideas thanks again
