At what throttle postion does the acc. pump come into play. Mine just barely touches at about half throttle. And don't push it down at all.

I would think its suppose to push the acc. pump down some. Or is my carb junk.

The accelerator pump should kick in once you hit the throttle. I had the same problem so I swapped the stock accel pump spring for a clicker pen spring. The pump will not get stuck and it will give you better throttle response.

Put a valve stem cap over the top of the accel pump rod. It makes the space between the rod and the arm smaller. You'll only have a few thousands of space. Hits faster.

I done the pen spring mod. It dont get stuck. The plastic part that pushes it down dont even touch it.

Was looking on ebay at the Raptor carbs. Will that be a little bit of an upgrade.

That plastic part as you call it could be bent. Try to GENTLY heat it up and bent it.

I heated it and bent it just a little. Seems to be a little bit better now.

Ill prob just upgrade to the Raptor carb when I tear it back apart to put rings in it.
