could i buy a rebuild kit for my carb and save money instead of spending hundreds of dollars on an aftermarket carb and have it do the sme thing?? and any suggestions on what type of aftermarket airfilter i should get?

on the carb you can get a rebuild kit, I have put one in my carb. on the air filter if you stay stock replacement go uni or if your going clamp on go K&N.
Clamp on filters are a better design becaust they dont rely on the lid to hold them on
