I've been trying to split the case on my warriors engine. I have taken all the bolts out holding it togatherand I have taken everything off of the clutch side and all thats left are the shafts. I managed to get part of it loose at the back of the engine but it wont come loose at the front. It seems to me like its the crankshaft holding it togather but I dont know. What could be causing this and what should I do to get it to come apart? Any help is appreciated ,thanks

did you get the 2 bolts next to the crank on the stator side ? is the starter off ? if so it most likely the main bearing holding it in ... use a rubber hammer and hit the crank on the clutch side to knock it out

Are the 2 bolts on the stator side under the stator cover? If they are then I didnt get them. I just got all the ones that I could see on the outside. The starter is removed and no, I do not have a case splitting tool.

ohh yea i forgot about them 2 sneaky bolts inside the side.

Can't you just use a flat head screwdriver and a hammer?

Not if you want the cases to ever seal again you hold it up and hit the crank from the clutch side and it will let loose crank stays in the left case and normally the tranny stays in the right case

Is that just gonna damage the case or the gasket?

I see the two bolts inside the left case are accessable without removing the stator. Can I then split the case without removing the stator?

kinda of you need to remover everything on the clutch side than use a rubber hammer from the clutch side on the crank, counter shaft, and clutch shaft
