i posted a similar thread on bluetraxx but i wanted to see if anyone here has had a similar situation with a cdi box.. ive been having electrical problems for the past while (no spark) and ended up replacing my stator which didnt fix the problem.. i then took a closer look at the cdi box and when i flipped it over it looked as if there were pebbles melted or stuck halfway into the plastic backing.. im wondering if this is a sign of the cdi being shot or what..

yours is a lot better than mine thou. mine was literally cracked wide open.

get a new cdi for that beast man. you'll probs find a cheap stock one on ebay just like i did.

actually on blue traxx there one of the guys just replied to my thread saying its normal looking.. i rechecked grounds and stator wires and got a bright blue spark for the first time in weeks. i cant understand why they look like that but thanks for the replies
