I don't know whats wrong here my chain adjuster has to be screwed in so far(almost all the way in)for the chain to be tight. My new rear axle bearing haven't even been broken in yet.

get a longer adjuster bolt. the one fell out of mine some how so i just put a new blot in and it works fine

how old is your chain, and what size sprockets are you running now?

I'm running 98 links on a 12/40 setup and I still have some adjustment room. Are you sure you're adjusting it right?

yes. Right from the manual. Yes theres is some space but very little like 1cm.You have to loosen the 4 adjuter bolts on the carrier the tighten your chain tighter.then tighten the bolts back up.

When the chain stretches out to the point that the adjusters are ALL THE WAY IN then you can take a link out of the chain. It won't hurt anything the way it is now, and if you take a link out it might be too short

BOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! BOOOOOOOO!!! The stock swingarm has pissed me off for the last time, time for the LS swingarm!!! At least honda was good for something with the cam chain adjustment!!! Every time I do jumps and whooped out trails I blow all four of the bolts loose regardless of threadlocker, torque specs, ect. I've had it with the pos stock swinger!!!

Go to the warrior section at alba's website and look at the swingarm.
